The Cost Analyst will collaborate with our finance, operations, and business teams at our Brownville, NY location to achieve top line growth and bottom-line margin improvement.
A successful candidate will support ongoing business activities by providing costing support, analyzing financial data, and subsequently providing guidance in order to reduce costs and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities Provide financial, business and process analytics to enable operations and business teams to achieve or exceed business objectives.
Maintain standard costs through accurate BOM's and Routings.
Support related process initiatives to ensure improved performance.
Provide financial planning and forecasting to meet business requirements.
Provide variance analysis and identify areas of opportunity.
Work with corporate accounting team to ensure a timely and accurate month end closing.
Develop a thorough working knowledge of the Oracle ERP system.
Provide guidance in cost savings, capital appropriations, and inventory management.
Provide effective and accurate KPI's and operational performance reporting.
High level of Safety Engagement.
Education/Qualifications Required Bachelors of Science in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field.
